About The Position

The Maintenance Tech (Late Shift) is responsible for painting and repairing walls, ceilings, and common areas. This role requires technical knowledge of building systems, including boilers, hot water heaters, and appliances. The position involves problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication with team members and upper management. Specific duties include plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, floor stripping and waxing, snow removal, and storm response and preparation. The position requires extensive painting work and prioritizes responding to heating and cooling complaints.

Requirements

• High School Education with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance and or related supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Acceptable clearance checks for State Central Registry, Driver’s License and fingerprinting as required by program.
• Compliance with health regulations for physical/Mantoux testing.

Responsibilities

• Painting and repairing walls, ceilings, and common areas.
• Technical Knowledge (building systems, repairs) Boilers, HWH, appliances.
