About The Position

The Maintenance Tech performs painting, surface preparation, and building maintenance to maintain buildings, equipment, and facility appearance. The role completes preventative and responsive maintenance, performs remodeling as needed, and supports plant operations by responding to maintenance needs in a timely manner. It also includes maintaining tools, equipment, work areas, and maintenance inventory; assisting with training new employees and team members; and following safety, environmental, and quality standards. The position is located in Livingston, Tennessee, in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver's license.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
Ability to read work instructions and perform basic math calculations.
Willingness to work overtime when needed.
Frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work from elevated platforms.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
