About The Position

The Maintenance Tech is part of a team responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment throughout the facility. The role maintains process and packaging equipment, including pumps, belt and scroll conveyors, chains, sprockets, fans, and bearings. The position involves welding, cutting, setting up and dismantling equipment, and using hand and power tools. The work is performed in person and requires working within a rotating shift or shift operation, with a commitment to regular attendance. Travel is not required.

Requirements

Maintenance or mechanical experience working with process and packaging equipment.
Basic understanding of vibration equipment, laser alignment, and oil analysis.
Strong computer skills.
Time management skills.
Proven troubleshooting skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
A two-year technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Knowledge of sugar factory processes is a plus.
