About The Position
This is a part-time Maintenance Tech position at the Nashville Residence Inn, located at 1801 Hayes Street, Nashville, TN 37203. The role involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance, completing and documenting work orders, troubleshooting and repairing various hotel systems and equipment, and maintaining grounds. The compensation ranges from $20.00 to $22.50 per hour, with the final pay determined by factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Hotel maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
- Complete and document guest and associate work orders
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
- Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
- Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
