About The Position
AAMCI-Management, Inc. has a property in Knoxville, TN that is looking to hire a full-time Property Maintenance Technician to preserve the long-term value and desirability of our community. This position ensures that residents have safe, comfortable apartments in good repair and that they are happy with the level of service they receive. The technician promptly addresses concerns in residents' apartments and makes appropriate handyman repairs. When a resident moves out, the technician works to make the apartment move-in ready within 5 days of the vacancy. The role involves keeping accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections, and inventories. The technician also assists the manager with apartment inspections and participates in an on-call emergency rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role contributes to the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community.
Requirements
- 2+ years of maintenance experience
- Painting experience
- Unit turns experience
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Mechanically inclined
- Reliable
- Self-motivated
- Eager to learn
- Ability to work well as part of a property management team
- Attentive to safety
