Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment and running the line as needed
  • Ensure effective employee relations while providing employee coaching and development and resolving employee issues through problem resolution.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.
  • Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager.
  • Plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
  • Hold production lines accountable to ensure compliance with published schedules, tact times/hourly rates, and quality standards.
  • Verify completion and accuracy of all production reporting, including SAP/R3 scanning transactions and paperwork.
  • Responsible to ensure quality procedures and work instructions are being followed by production operators.
  • Work with line leaders, operators, and staff to reduce scrap and quality issues.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Maintain 5S standards and other aspects of the Grupo Antolin SP system as assigned.
  • Responsible to enforce all safety rules and regulations, to provide safety equipment, if unable to resolve any unsafe condition report to the appropriate Manager, complete Safety Incident Investigation reports to include corrective action and submit to HR no later than the end of the shift in which the incident occurred. Ensure compliance with the Drug and Alcohol Policy.
  • Responsible to administer the Attendance Policy, counsel and issue warnings and keep / report accurate timekeeping records.
  • Responsible to provide training to ensure all production employees understand proper operations, work instructions, quality procedures, and safety instructions.
  • Responsible to provide all documentation and respect the required due dates (Production Reports, Job Cards, Training, Multiskilling Matrices, Attendance Warnings, Timekeeping, etc.)
