About The Position

AAMCI-Management, Inc. has a property in West Knoxville, TN looking to hire a full-time Property Maintenance Technician to preserve the long-term value and desirability of our community. This position ensures that residents have safe, comfortable apartments in good repair and are happy with the level of service they receive. The technician promptly addresses concerns in current residents' apartments and makes appropriate handyman repairs. When a resident moves out, the technician works to make the apartment move-in ready for the next resident within 5 days of the vacancy. The role involves participating in an on-call emergency rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and contributing to the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community. Each shift brings a combination of daily checklists and unexpected surprises, ensuring the role is never boring.

Requirements

2+ years of maintenance experience
HVAC Certification required
Painting
Unit turns
Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman work
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Mechanically inclined, reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
Ability to work well as part of a property management team
Attentive to safety
