About The Position

AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Maintenance Tech in Crossville, TN. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all production line and support equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and installing new equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading mechanical and electrical drawings, performing repairs with minimal supervision, and handling all aspects of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair. The role also involves performing upgrades and modifications, correcting unsafe conditions, maintaining accurate records, supporting manufacturing objectives, and working closely with the Stock Room. Adherence to safety guidelines, company policies, and housekeeping standards is crucial. The position also requires participation in continuous learning and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Industrial maintenance degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience as a multi-craft technician including mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, basic machine shop and welding, and electronic control systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair all equipment in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in the safe and proper use of all test equipment and all power or hand tools
  • Knowledge of lubrication types and applications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with employees
  • Must be available to work overtime as necessary and other shifts as necessary
  • Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test, physical, and criminal background check

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair all production line and support equipment.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on all production line equipment, production support equipment and buildings.
  • Install new equipment, test and train others on proper and safe operation.
  • Perform appropriate repairs with little to no supervision.
  • Perform all aspects of mechanical and electrical trouble shooting and repair.
  • Perform upgrades and modifications of existing equipment.
  • Correct any unsafe acts or equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records, including work completed logs and downtime tracking.
  • Support manufacturing objectives.
  • Work closely with the Stock Room to obtain parts and follow stockroom procedures.
  • Assist in Stock Room Audits to maintain correct quantities and parts.
  • Adhere to strict safety guidelines and company standards, utilizing PPE as required.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
  • Participate in Continuous Learning program.
  • Perform any other duties that may be required or assigned.
