About The Position

The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and manufacturing machinery. This role involves performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment, including troubleshooting electrical circuits, motors, controls, sensors, and other electrical components. The technician will also be responsible for reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals, as well as installing, replacing, and repairing electrical components and equipment. Additionally, the role includes troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, working with various electrical components like panels, motor controls, VFDs, relays, contactors, and sensors, and performing electrical testing. The Maintenance Tech will respond to equipment breakdowns, assist with installations and modifications, document work, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 1+ year previous experience in industrial electrical maintenance or a related manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and manufacturing machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, controls, sensors, and other electrical components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Install, replace, and repair electrical components and equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and assist with control system issues.
• Work with electrical panels, motor controls, VFDs, relays, contactors, sensors, and related components.
• Perform electrical testing using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs in a timely manner.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements.
• Document completed maintenance work and communicate equipment issues to supervisors.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable electrical safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
