About The Position
This role is for a Maintenance Technician in a food manufacturing facility committed to quality, safety, and operational excellence. The position involves performing basic and advanced maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in industrial maintenance, with a preference for experience in food processing environments.
Requirements
- 2 years of maintenance experience (food industry in manufacturing environment preferred)
- 5 years of comparable maintenance experience
- Mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, PLC's and pneumatics required
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals required
- Work independent and as a team, fast paced environment
Nice To Haves
- GMP, HACCP and food safety standards (preferred)
- Trade school certification or technical training is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including injection presses, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machines.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Maintain and repair HVAC, chillers, dryers, and compressed air systems.
- Support sanitation and food safety compliance.
- Document maintenance activities using CMMS software.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment meets operational and regulatory standards.
- Follow up on maintenance tasks for resolution with key internal customers.
