About The Position
The Maintenance Technician at Eagle Tampa is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of all facility equipment and systems to support uninterrupted business activities. This role involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting malfunctions, and executing timely repairs to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate closely with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and implement preventive maintenance programs that enhance equipment longevity and safety. A key outcome of this position is to minimize downtime and maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall operational excellence by proactively identifying potential issues and recommending improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate maintenance equipment safely.
Nice To Haves
- Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or on-call shifts if required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory to support asset management.
- Collaborate with facility management and other departments to schedule maintenance activities and respond to urgent repair requests.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks.
