About The Position

Little Rapids Corporation (LRC) is looking for a Maintenance Tech at our facility in Green Bay, WI. LRC has two divisions, Graham Professional, converting paper products for the medical and beauty industries, and Rapids Paper + Packaging, uniting Shawano Specialty Papers and Nexxa – Print Division under a single brand. Rapids Paper + Packaging brings together specialty paper, flexible packaging, advanced printing, and fuctional coating technologies. This position is for night shift.

Requirements

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and physical
High school diploma/GED required
3 -5 Years experience in manufacturing environment with focus on electrical or mechanical work.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand electrical components, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams drives and PLC’s.
Able to run basic machine shop, fabrication equipment and hand tools
Self-motivated, but also able to work as an effective team member

Nice To Haves

Technical Degree in mechanical, trades, or documented training within areas of maintenance, or Journeyman status preferred.
Maintenance experience on converting equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Comply with all safety regulations and company policies while maintaining a clean and orderly work area
Willingness and flexibility to work overtime on short notice including emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment that may involve all days of the week
Perform various skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, machining, and troubleshooting.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments as needed
Perform regular preventative maintenance routes on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment, as needed, to perform the jobs as needed
Participate in continuous education and training, as needed, to remain competent in all areas of the maintenance field.
All other assignments assigned by management.
