About The Position

Under the direction of a Lead/Supervisor, perform preventative maintenance, general maintenance, installations, and repairs to electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment/systems. This role also involves routine maintenance duties on the facility, building grounds, equipment, and machinery at the site. The position requires using standard and special maintenance/repair tools, working with a team approach to problem-solving, and prioritizing jobs. Ensuring appropriate records, instructions, and prints are maintained, and performing duties in a safe manner are critical. Adherence to policies and procedures, including manufacturer’s instructions and related regulations (EHS, Hazcom, LOTO, electrical/mechanical safety), is expected. The role includes performing machine maintenance, plant and operations maintenance, and adhering to operating procedures and/or work instructions. Responsibility for the quality of one's own work, following schedules, procedures, and 6S housekeeping practices, and being goal-oriented towards manufacturing cost and work center efficiency are key aspects. Offering ideas, suggestions, and improvement concepts for enhancing the utilization and productivity of the Maintenance Department is also part of the role. Other duties may be added as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring devices.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs and industrial automation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced skills in PLCs and industrial automation are a plus.
  • Technical certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, general maintenance, installations, and repairs to electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment/systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance duties on the facility, building grounds, equipment, and machinery.
  • Use standard and special maintenance/repair tools including, but not limited to hand tools, saws, drills, cutting devices, grinding tools, measuring devices, etc.
  • Work with an attitude toward continuous improvement with a team approach to problem-solving and decision making.
  • Prioritize and assign jobs, monitor variances.
  • Ensure that appropriate records, instructions, and prints are maintained.
  • Perform duties in a safe manner at all times.
  • Follow policies and procedures including manufacturer’s instructions and related regulations (EHS, Hazcom, LOTO, electrical/mechanical safety, etc.).
  • Perform Machine Maintenance.
  • Perform Plant and operations maintenance Operating Procedures and/or work instructions.
  • Be responsible for the quality of own work.
