About The Position

The Maintenance Tech III performs CNC machine maintenance for vertical, horizontal, lathe, and other complex equipment. The technician works at a high expected level of performance and readiness for production equipment, balancing maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and the installation of new equipment. This position also includes facility support for equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 10+ years of maintenance experience with CNC equipment or other complex machinery
  • Experience with Fanuc and Haas controls
  • Experience using hand tools and test equipment
  • Takes ownership of production equipment
  • Ability to read and understand schematics, P&ID, technical diagrams/documentation
  • Able to operate forklift, scissor lift, hoist or other support equipment as needed.
  • Customer service orientated
  • Needs thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Advanced understanding of machine maintenance procedures and techniques
  • Must be well-organized and have ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Performs preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Calibrates and adjusts pallet changers, linear and rotary axes
  • Checks for flatness, alignment, and offset of table, machine, and tooling
  • Proficient in troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems down to component level
  • Performs very complex maintenance and repairs
  • Balance and prioritize workload while staging necessary tools and equipment
  • Research parts down to appropriate vendor
  • Maintain accurate on time records for CMMS
  • Follow company safety standards
  • Work in team focused environment assisting others in completion of tasks
  • Safety and OSHA compliance
  • Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
  • Performs other related duties assigned
