About The Position
ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures. Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities. Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary. Assists in emergencies as needed. The Company may require that the successful candidate hired for this position be fully-vaccinated for COVID-19, if and to the extent permitted by applicable law. The Company will make exceptions for medical, sincerely held religious belief, or other legally required exceptions. Pay: $ 30.00 - $32.00/hr The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $ 0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested. Essential Function: 3 – 5+ years of experience in commercial property, multi-unit residential and/or related facilities maintenance role. Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing the following: Plumbing HVAC Systems Refrigeration Electric LOTO/safety procedures, respectable replacements, ballast change-outs Carpentry Paint Mechanical - pumps, equipment Basic working knowledge of fire protection hydraulic system and fire protection alarm system. Fire Alarm, Wet and Dry Suppression Systems Ability to effectively present information to departmental management, employees, tenants, and outside contacts Requirements: Safety Certification/Training OSHA Aerial & Scissor Lift Certification We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. Requirements
