Maintenance Tech II
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician II performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all facility and building systems, completes specialized repairs in areas of technical expertise, and performs other general tasks for the maintenance and upkeep of the campus. A successful candidate will also assist with the operation of the Utility Plant, to include interfacing with the Building Automation System (BAS), Boilers, Chillers, Air Handling Units (AHU's) and other critical systems throughout the facility. This is an evening position in the Central Utility Plant at the Main Campus with on-site parking.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Three years' experience in building trades or maintenance-focused role
- Must possess a valid Vermont driver’s license and safe driving record
Nice To Haves
- State Journeyman's License in one of the following trades: Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry or a Class III (NIULPE / ASOPE) license
- Comparative and cumulative number of years' experience in a related trade (e.g., HVAC, Refrigeration, and/or experience in excess of three years in the building trades) in place of licensure
