About The Position

Duro-Last Roofing, a division of Amrize Solutions & Products and a manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its Saginaw, Michigan plant. This is a full-time, hourly second-shift position, scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with benefits. The role maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment and the facility, troubleshoots machinery, installs and tests equipment and electrical components, and ensures machinery meets applicable safety standards.

Requirements

Experience with industrial controls.
Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and operating machinery.
Ability to read blueprints and experience with fabrication.
Excellent safety and attendance record.
Ability to work overtime when required.
Self-motivation and ability to multitask.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Three to five years of industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
Operate hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
Maintain the facility and associated equipment.
Work with maintenance vendors.
Keep the work area clean and orderly.
Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
Install equipment and electrical components and test them to ensure proper functioning.
Ensure machinery complies with federal, state, and company safety standards.
