About The Position

Under the direction of a Lead/Supervisor, perform preventative maintenance, general maintenance, installations, and repairs to electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment/systems. This role also involves routine maintenance duties on the facility, building grounds, equipment, and machinery at the site. The position requires working with an attitude toward continuous improvement, a team approach to problem-solving and decision-making, and the ability to prioritize and assign jobs, monitor variances, and ensure appropriate records, instructions, and prints are maintained. Performing duties in a safe manner at all times and following policies and procedures including manufacturer’s instructions and related regulations (EHS, Hazcom, LOTO, electrical/mechanical safety, etc.) are critical. The role includes performing machine maintenance, plant and operations maintenance, operating procedures, and/or work instructions. The individual is responsible for the quality of their own work, follows schedules, procedures, and 6S housekeeping practices, and is goal-oriented toward manufacturing cost and work center efficiency. They are expected to offer ideas, suggestions, and improvement concepts for enhancing the utilization and productivity of the Maintenance Department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring devices.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs and industrial automation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced skills in PLCs and industrial automation are a plus.
  • Technical certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in a safe manner at all times.
