Under minimal supervision, this role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining assigned equipment with a focus on production and quality. The position involves performing routine inspections and ad-hoc repairs on conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment. It also includes troubleshooting out-of-service equipment, acting as an escalation point for junior technicians, and documenting all maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and ticketing systems. The role also requires mentoring maintenance personnel, assisting mechanics, performing facility/building project work, assembling and testing equipment, analyzing production delays, and certifying on industrial lift equipment. Additionally, the position may oversee projects, inspect and monitor the maintenance provided by junior engineers, and provide guidance and training.
