The Maintenance Technician II Coordinator position supports the Maintenance Supervisor in meeting departmental goals, including line call management, PM completion, budget stewardship, and project execution. This role involves coordinating maintenance resources with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity to address line calls and other assigned tasks. The position requires working within the SAP PM environment for work order management, determining manpower needs, and preparing for planned and shutdown work. Responsibilities also include requesting quotes, generating purchase requisitions, organizing and reviewing PMs, managing shift notes, and supporting production by minimizing equipment downtime. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as performing minor electrical component tasks. Adherence to safety policies and Wabash's Leadership Principles and Values is essential. The position requires the ability to work on projects both individually and with cross-functional teams. The role is expected to work full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours), including mandatory overtime and weekends. Assignments in the Duraplate division may require 12-hour shifts and coverage across all scheduling options. Other duties as needed or required will also be performed.
