This role involves assisting with the day-to-day operations of the B&G department, including staffing, maintenance, operations, and cleaning. The technician will be responsible for setting up and breaking down rooms for internal programs and outside rentals, and managing the physical arrangements in buildings and on grounds for various events such as concerts, lectures, and athletic events. The position requires availability and responsiveness for building-wide events and emergencies, including evenings and weekends, and the ability to complete work assignments in a timely manner. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and alerting supervisors to unusual occurrences or necessary work are key aspects of the job.
