About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of maintenance, construction, landscaping, facilities, or related hands-on experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general repair techniques.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Tech is required to supply their own basic hand tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Complete service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with apartment turns, including painting, drywall repair, and general maintenance.
  • Perform basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and other building systems.
  • Assist senior maintenance technicians with HVAC, appliance, and preventative maintenance projects.
  • Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests while providing excellent customer service.
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and property deficiencies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops, storage areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and maintenance activities.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with snow removal as needed.
