Under limited supervision, set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections on assigned conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment. It also includes troubleshooting out-of-service equipment, acting as an escalation point, and documenting all work in the CMMS and ticketing systems. The position requires performing root cause analysis of major downtime events, assisting other mechanics, and performing facility/building project work such as light bulb replacement, door repairs, furniture installation, ceiling tile replacement, carpentry, and plumbing repairs. Additionally, the role involves assembling and testing equipment, analyzing production delays, examining defects, and taking corrective actions to solve equipment malfunctions.
