About The Position

Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI) is seeking a 1st shift Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to support Thermal Mixing production operations at their Lawrenceville manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining chemical batch-making equipment, including piping systems, pumps, agitators, and mills. The successful candidate will utilize hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and sound judgment to troubleshoot issues, complete maintenance activities, and ensure safe and efficient production.

Responsibilities

  • Model "safety first" behaviors by ensuring operational procedures, equipment, and processes are designed to provide a safe work environment.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electromechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process, including pumps, agitators, mills and chemical batch-making equipment.
  • Perform operational tests and fault isolations on systems and equipment.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, assemble and/or rebuild equipment, electronic system circuitry and computerized systems according to layout plans, blueprints, manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
  • Perform routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment according to manuals.
  • Perform preventive maintenance following a prescribed maintenance schedule.
  • Maintain logs and records indicating malfunctions.
  • Perform equipment modifications related to manufacturing support tasks as directed by engineers, including installing electrical conduits, wires, sensors, and controls per specifications.
  • Assist in training new employees and aid employees with questions regarding work standards.
