About The Position

NOVO Health Services offers linen management solutions to the healthcare industry, focusing on safety and infection control. They provide partner hospitals with a value-driven linen management control system that measures and monitors linen utilization to eliminate excess internal costs. NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes. NOVO Health Services is accepting applications for a 3rd shift Maintenance Tech Assistant at their Healthcare facility located in Ravenna, OH. This position is responsible for assisting in performing repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventative maintenance tasks on laundry and boiler room equipment. The successful candidates will be responsible in assisting our industrial maintenance techs to repair, modify or make new parts for any mechanical equipment.

Requirements

Must be able to visually analyze blueprints, shop drawings and work out mathematical problems pertaining to each trade.
Math, reading and writing skills
Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, steam, hydraulics and welding skills
Good attendance
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, with repetitive stooping, forward bending and crouching
Manual dexterity required
Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

Experience in mechanical, welding, carpentry, plumbing, pneumatics, steam and hydraulics preferred.
Computer literacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assisting in performing repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventative maintenance tasks on laundry and boiler room equipment.
