About The Position
The Maintenance Tech 1 is responsible for troubleshooting, supporting, and repairing all production equipment. This role involves determining the necessary materials, parts, and equipment for repairs and stock. The technician will install, inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and other related systems across all production and supporting departments. Additionally, the role includes coordinating and participating in scheduled/preventive maintenance, inspecting and maintaining steam, heating, cooling, and water treatment systems, completing necessary documentation, and designing/implementing the installation of new equipment and tools. Compliance with all company safety rules and policies is mandatory, along with performing other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
- 5 plus years of experience in facility maintenance
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - All Required

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment
- Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
- Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments
- Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment
- Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in entire plant
- Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines
- Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools
- Must comply with all company safety rules and policies
- Other duties as assigned
