About The Position

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead maintenance operations at the Oakdale, California manufacturing plant. You will oversee maintenance for production lines, equipment, and facilities while scheduling labor to meet production demands. You will drive safety, uptime, reliability, and cost performance through strong preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Prior supervisory experience required.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and electrical and electronic principles.
Computer proficiency required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a technical discipline preferred.
3+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
Computer-aided design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance activities for production lines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Plan and schedule maintenance labor to support production requirements.
Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including oil analysis, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and equipment monitoring.
Monitor downtime and equipment performance trends and prioritize corrective actions.
Provide technical leadership, coaching, and development for maintenance employees.
Enforce plant safety programs and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
Maintain effective working relationships with United States Department of Agriculture officials.
Manage maintenance labor, overtime, parts purchasing, and departmental expenses.
Support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
