You will be the F-35 Organizational Maintenance Optimization (OMO) Systems Engineer - Level 2, and will be an essential part of identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and implementing maintenance plan changes that will increase the Organizational maintenance capability while improving aircraft availability and reducing life cycle costs. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industry/technical experience (e.g., private or military aviation experience focusing on core maintenance, sustainment, and engineering concepts).
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous F-35 program experience.
  • Low Observable, Structures and Crew escape maintenance concept experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the application of Agile principles within a systems engineering framework.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
