About The Position

Interested employees are encouraged to apply for job openings that meet their career goals. This is a 6-month temporary assignment for a Maintenance Support role with Team Leader Pay. The shift is Wednesday - Saturday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The department is Maintenance.

Requirements

• Candidates must have an excellent attendance record
• Excellent safety record
• Ability to learn how to operate power tools safely
• Dedicated to learning lean/continuous improvement concepts and applying them to the day-to-day operation as well as regular use of other TOS tools.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using basic hand tools/cranes preferred

Responsibilities

• Changing batteries for all types of PIV’s within facility
• Operate floor sweeper/scrubber
• Facility repair / maintenance support including but not limited to office equipment, restrooms, kitchen and office areas, lighting, docks and doors, and outdoor property.
• Construction and fabrication support work.
• Assist in mechanical and electrical installation of machines.
• Implement safety and good housekeeping practices.
• Frequent contact with others outside the work group.
• Apply TOS/Lean tools on a daily basis to ensure maximum quality and efficiency for assigned team.
• As time allows, assist production in their work assignments.
