Requirements

2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing service environment.
Self-starter mentality.
Solid mechanical aptitude.
Ability to carry out written and oral instructions.
Strong communication skills.
Team-player attitude.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand/walk for the majority of your shift.
Good close and color vision with the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Perform urgent on-the-spot repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) on time.
Verify safety switches are functioning and ensure pinch points and hazards are clearly marked.
Tackle building repairs (doorknobs, door closures, and more) quickly and efficiently.
Retool and set up equipment as needed to support production demands.
Maintain a clean, organized parts room.
Process internal repair orders for full accountability and transparent tracking.
Minimize disruptions and maximize output by driving downtime reduction.
