About The Position

Technica LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a full-time, temporary position on a Government contract at Fort Bliss, TX. The anticipated period of performance ends in October 2026. This role involves supervising field-level maintenance exclusively on U.S. military vehicles, their associated trailers, and MHE systems, including JLTVs, HMMWVs, PLSs, LMTVs, and MTVs. Responsibilities include generating maintenance reports via GCSS-Army, ensuring equipment is serviced and repaired according to technical manuals, and acting as a subject matter expert on tactical and combat equipment. The supervisor will identify training needs, train mechanics on troubleshooting, research missing repair parts, and enforce safety and environmental standards. Additionally, the role involves employee discipline, performance reviews, timesheet approval, applicant screening, interviews, and ensuring compliance with physical security policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing Fleet Maintenance Operations, specifically Army Maintenance at the Battalion level or one year at the Brigade level.
  • Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with GCSS-Army.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and daily operation of Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-Army).
  • Minimum of 2-year hands-on experience with the Global GCSS-Army.
  • In-depth knowledge of AESIP and Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC) applications.
  • Knowledge in completing necessary documentation such as DA Forms 2404/5988E Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet, DA Form 2407 Maintenance Request, DA Form 2407-1 Maintenance Request Continuation Sheet, DA Form 7723 Maintenance Expenditure Limit Waiver, DA Form 461-5 Vehicle Classification Inspection, and other applicable DA/DoD forms.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities in order to handle a demanding workload.
  • Collaborative work style that fosters cooperation and teamwork.
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Maintenance System – Next Generation (EMS-NG).
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident for more than 3 years for CAC/ NACI eligibility.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 18 years of age.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises field level maintenance exclusively on U.S. military vehicles, their associated trailers and MHE systems such as but not limited to: the newly inducted Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs), High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs), Palletized Load Systems (PLSs), Light Medium Tactical Vehicles (LMTVs), Medium Tactical Vehicle (MTVs).
  • Provide maintenance reports using Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army).
  • Ensures equipment is inspected, serviced and/or repaired IAW applicable Technical Manuals.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) on tactical and combat equipment requiring repairs and determine the reparability of items based on the Maintenance Expenditure Limit (MEL).
  • Identifies technical training shortfalls and when necessary, trains inspectors or mechanics to diagnose/troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic malfunctions accurately using the latest equipment, technical manuals (TM), and procedures available.
  • Conducts research on repair parts (materials) not received by its estimated ship date (ESD).
  • Primarily responsible for enforcing safety and environmental standards in conjunction with maintenance operations.
  • Performs employee discipline counseling, employee performance reviews, and other personnel reports.
  • Reviews and approve employee timesheets.
  • Screen applicants and conducts interviews for open position.
  • Ensures all employees observe policy, procedures and regulatory guidance for physical security, and monitors for compliance.
