About The Position
RBM Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for Woodwinds Apartments. This role involves leading day-to-day maintenance operations, training and supervising a team, responding to resident requests, performing apartment turns, maintaining community grounds and common areas, and completing various repairs including plumbing, electrical, appliance, and drywall. The position also includes implementing preventative maintenance programs, ensuring a safe living environment, maintaining compliance with Fair Housing guidelines, and representing the company professionally. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience
- HVAC Certification (Required)
- CPO Certification (Required)
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- A positive, professional, and solution-oriented attitude
- Ability to diagnose and complete a variety of maintenance repairs independently
- Understanding of Fair Housing requirements and best practices
- Availability to participate in an on-call rotation and weekend on-call schedule
Nice To Haves
- Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day maintenance operations for the community
- Train, coach, supervise, and motivate maintenance team members
- Respond to and complete resident service requests in a timely manner
- Perform apartment turns and punch work
- Maintain community grounds, curb appeal, and common areas
- Complete general plumbing, electrical, appliance, and drywall repairs
- Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment for residents
- Maintain compliance with Fair Housing guidelines and company standards
- Represent RBM Management professionally with residents, vendors, coworkers, and the public
