About The Position

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor for the Bexley at Tech Ridge property in the Austin, TX area. This is a hands-on role where you will manage and coordinate a service team to ensure efficient upkeep, inventory, and repair of the property's grounds and buildings. You will also work as part of the team to complete maintenance duties, diagnosing and repairing issues in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, structural exterior, and appliances. Responsibilities include scheduling and supervising in-house and vendor work, sharing on-call duties, and ensuring professional maintenance practices to maximize rents and maintain high occupancy. The service team is customer service-driven, aiming to create a positive influence on residents and visitors. Weinstein Properties owns and manages all its properties, offering stability and growth opportunities, with a commitment to internal promotion and training.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of trade-related experience.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on apartment maintenance lead, assistant, or supervisory experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
  • EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
  • Computer skills: ability to use business software for work orders, scheduling, supply ordering, and email communication.
  • Willingness to share on-call duties with other team members.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Possession of tools.
  • Ability to pass a DMV and background/criminal check.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating activities of a service team to ensure all upkeep, inventory, and repair of grounds and buildings are completed efficiently.
