About The Position

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor for the Bexley at Tech Ridge property in the Austin, TX area. This is a hands-on role where you will manage and coordinate a service team to ensure efficient upkeep, inventory, and repair of the property's grounds and buildings. You will also work as part of the team to complete maintenance duties, diagnose and repair issues in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances. The role involves scheduling and supervising in-house and vendor work, sharing on-call duties, and maximizing rents and occupancy through professional maintenance practices, quality control, and adherence to policies. The service team is customer-service driven, impacting visitors, prospects, and residents. Weinstein Properties owns and manages all its properties, offering stability and growth opportunities, with a commitment to internal promotion and training.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years trade-related experience.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on apartment maintenance lead, assistant or supervisory experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
  • EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
  • Computer skills: use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies and communicate via email.
  • Willing to share on-call with other team members.
  • Valid driver's license, transportation and tools required.
  • Must pass a DMV and background/criminal check.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating activities of a service team to ensure all upkeep, inventory and repair of grounds and buildings of the property are completed in an efficient manner.
