About The Position

Ovation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for one of their premier apartment communities in Las Vegas. This role is crucial in maintaining the high-quality lifestyle for residents. The company is a family-owned real estate firm with a 40-year track record, specializing in development, construction, and management of residential properties. Ovation has developed over 40 properties, comprising more than 12,000 apartment units, with an additional 4,000 units in the development pipeline. The firm's multifamily portfolio includes 6,000 Class A units, 400 active adult units, 2,200 affordable senior units, and 2,000 units managed for third parties, totaling 10,600 units under management. Ovation is committed to enhancing lives and communities and is looking for a dedicated individual to join their dynamic and collaborative team.

Requirements

• At least one year of apartment maintenance supervisor experience at a 300+ community.
• Working knowledge of grounds/common area maintenance.
• Experience with appliance repairs, service requests, and apartment preparation.
• Ability to order parts and maintain safe working conditions.
• Strong knowledge of GE appliances.
• Universal EPA certification type II.
• HVAC certification.
• Onesite knowledge and computer skills are preferred.
• Must be available to attend on-call after hour emergencies.
• Must live in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area.
• Must possess reliable transportation.
• Must possess strong leadership/training skills.
• Ability to deal effectively with customers and staff.
• Dependable, punctual, proactive, and must work well with others.
• Enthusiastic and with a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• CPO (swimming pool) certification is a plus!
• Onesite knowledge and computer skills is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance operations at a 300+ unit community.
• Perform grounds and common area maintenance.
• Conduct appliance repairs, handle service requests, and prepare apartments.
• Order parts and maintain safe working conditions.
• Attend all Ovation Property Management maintenance training.
• Be available for on-call after-hour emergencies.
• Live in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area.
