The Maintenance Supervisor leads and coordinates all overnight maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. This role provides hands-on leadership with a strong focus on electrical systems and extrusion machinery while minimizing downtime and supporting plant performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5–8+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing
• Strong experience with electrical systems, PLCs, and controls

Nice To Haves

• technical certification preferred
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
• Extrusion equipment experience strongly preferred
• Advanced troubleshooting (electrical, mechanical, controls)
• Knowledge of PLCs, drives, motors, and automation systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently on overnight shift

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians on overnight shift
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, controls, and production equipment
• Lead maintenance support for extrusion lines to ensure uptime
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Respond to breakdowns and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure safe, compliant maintenance practices
• Collaborate with production to minimize downtime
• Maintain maintenance records and reporting
• Train and mentor maintenance staff
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
