About The Position

The Collier Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for an on-site role in Gainesville, FL. This position supports and manages the maintenance team to ensure the property meets The Collier Company’s established standards. The Supervisor is an expert at troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and providing solutions with a customer service attitude. Responsibilities include repairs in areas such as HVAC (if applicable), electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliances.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance/Service Manager or equivalent supervisory position.
Self-starter with a strong eye for detail.
Ability to recruit new vendors and establish long-term relationships with new and current vendors.
Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
Proven track record of excellent customer service.
Ability to work independently and prioritize.
Commitment to Emergency-On-Call (EOC) participation.
Commitment to overtime commitment in Summer/Fall turn season.

Nice To Haves

Conventional experience a plus.
Experience with using Entrata Property Management Software is a plus.
EPA certified and strong HVAC skill set is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
