Requirements

  • Knowledge of the SAP system;
  • Knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical, and BM Process.
  • Continues improvement mindset.
  • Intermediate skills applying Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain working relationships in a team environment with professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collect, maintain, and analyze information.
  • Plastic Omnium Hilo, Crane, and Work Elevated Platform (Boom lifts, Scissor Lifts) certification.
  • Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises.
  • Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
  • Work requires working under high or low temperatures at certain times.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe working environment and implement / participate in safety improvements.
  • Maintains the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system and takes action to continuously improve the process.
  • Writes and sends for approval new and updated TPM documents. Makes sure the TPM related documents have the newest version printed out.
  • As an SAP system Key User: enters troubleshooting tickets and solves the End Users’ issues. Maintains equipment and Work Order records.
  • Support special projects such as machinery moves, launches, and continuous improvement.
  • Documentation of work performed in clear and concise form.
  • Audits and validates the systems (SAP, TPM, Safety, etc.)
  • Manages the PMs and Annual Inspections of the Hilos, Boom lifts, and Floor Cleaners. Keeps all the records on their corrective and preventive maintenance. Makes sure the scheduled jobs are completed as planned and confirms the work orders’ content accuracy.
  • Fills in for the Stores Coordinator’s position when necessary.
  • Manages the Lifting Devices’ monthly and annual inspections, updates the master file monthly.
  • Performs technical safety audits.
  • Creates / updates PM/CM work instructions.
  • Performs weekly cycle counts in stores, enters all the data in SAP and transfers all the related documents to the Plant Controller.
  • Takes the hours readings from the machines in order to schedule specific preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Performs daily TPM Completion audits and checks the accuracy of the existing work orders on the maintenance board;
  • Drives action plans and problem solving tools to find root causes.
  • Adherence and support of all safety and environmental regulations, work rules, policies and procedures.
  • Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises.
  • Ability to manage projects: defines scope, gets quotes, purchase parts, schedules implementation, and provides documentation and training.
  • Performs Environmental Audits as planned.
