Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years in an industrial manufacturing setting, with supervisory experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

Strong technical understanding across a wide range of areas, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to learn and utilize CMMS, Oracle, and other relevant software for this role.
Preferred knowledge of extrusion equipment and processes.
Experience supporting or overseeing preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) programs.
Familiarity with maintenance planning, scheduling, and kitting processes.
Experience partnering with planners or reliability teams to drive continuous improvement and reduce repeat work.
Understanding of backlog management and strategies to improve work execution efficiency.
Prior experience working in a unionized and/or industrial manufacturing environment (if applicable).

Responsibilities

Directing and assisting in installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, tools, and equipment.
Executing work priorities to team members based on production demands/needs.
Directing team members on scheduling repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
Supporting product development and improvements.
Assisting in the design, implementation, and modifications of preventative maintenance programs.
Resolving maintenance problems by conferring with management, engineering, and quality as needed.
Overseeing, directing and scheduling maintenance team and activities in adherence to the manufacturing schedule.
Ensuring proper preventative maintenance is completed, training is executed to team members, and safety measures are adhered to.
Troubleshooting, performing root-cause analysis, repairing, rebuilding and/or replacing manufacturing and facilities equipment and systems.
Assisting in developing the technical capabilities and skills of less experienced team members as needed and appropriate.
Updating SOP’s and work instructions as needed.
Leading, motivating, training, coaching, developing, and evaluating maintenance team members; provide regular, constructive performance feedback.
Actively supporting, enforcing, and monitoring the site safety program to ensure compliance and promote a strong safety culture.
Supervising and supporting troubleshooting activities to ensure timely, effective, and efficient return of equipment to service.
Ensuring accurate and complete maintenance documentation in MVP, including who/what/where/when/how details, actual labor hours, and parts usage.
Providing hands-on leadership and labor support as needed to complete interruptible and emergency maintenance work.
Coordinating and sharing after-hours emergency response coverage with the PM/PdM Supervisor.
Maintaining a high level of professionalism and effective communication with employees, contractors, and vendors at all times.
