The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee a shift or team of maintenance hourly technicians. This role involves managing the facility's maintenance budget, utilizing systems like KIWI and SAP to track key performance measures, and managing the work order system through completion. The supervisor will also conduct weekly meetings to plan and prioritize projects, and be responsible for the planning of maintenance projects including scheduling personnel, maintaining budgets, and ensuring necessary parts and resources are available. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the local leadership team to schedule predictive/preventative maintenance, leading Environmental Health & Safety initiatives, and managing the facility's store-room inventory and parts. The supervisor will also assist in capital project development and management, coordinate purchasing and inventory activities, and determine material needs for repairs. They will inspect maintenance materials and services, track equipment and building repair costs, and analyze high maintenance cost centers to implement cost-saving solutions. The role may also involve managing contracted work by developing scopes of work and obtaining quotations. Finally, the supervisor will plan routine and preventative maintenance tasks and maintain organized technical information in the Maintenance Office.
