About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor directs day-to-day maintenance activities, assigns tasks, and coordinates Machine Maintenance and Electro/Mechanical Tech resources to support the plant. The role is responsible for directing and supporting maintenance functions at an Ashley location, which may include building, machine, and support groups. The supervisor also assists production management with equipment maintenance, training, and operation, and is expected to recommend continuous improvements to processes and systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
Previous supervisory experience.
Experience with manufacturing or warehouse equipment and department processes.

Associate degree in Supervisory Management or a related field.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance work that supports production objectives.
Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Coordinate troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
Enforce safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements.
Analyze equipment performance, downtime trends, and maintenance metrics to identify improvements, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
Manage maintenance work orders, spare parts inventory, and CMMS data.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, and other teams to coordinate maintenance, support capital projects, and drive continuous improvement.
Assist production management with equipment maintenance, training, and operation.
Direct day-to-day maintenance activities, assign tasks, and coordinate maintenance resources.
