About The Position
Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of Blue Coral Apartments, a brand new community located in Cape Coral, FL. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and a strong benefits package.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A minimum of 3 years of prior maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.
- Ability to perform general janitorial duties.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and saws.
- Ability to safely use various power tools such as hand-held drills and circular saws.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, residents).
Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
- Direct and supervise the day-to-day administrative operations of the maintenance functions, including scheduling and assignment of work, submission of reports, paperwork, and record keeping.
- Perform hands-on maintenance duties including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywalling, painting, exterior structure, appliance repair, and cleaning.
- Manage vendor relationships and submit reports, paperwork, and recordkeeping.
- Handle service requests for repairs and improvements of vacant apartments to ensure they are market-ready.
