Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions from Management or senior leadership.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and general repairs.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification in HVAC, plumbing or general maintenance
- 3+ years experience preferred.
- Leadership and supervision in a union environment
- Safety awareness and accountability
- Clear communication and collaboration
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- Reliability and operational focus
- Ability to work in a manufacturing, warehouse, and outdoor environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, and move throughout the facility to perform essential job functions.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles, forklifts, and golf carts as required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license .
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment and ongoing background checks and drug testing in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform basic operating tasks in his/her unit/department, in keeping with the instructions provided by his/her supervisor, in order to satisfy the project’s needs.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Carry out regular checks that the facilities are in good operating conditions.
- Carry out general maintenance work and work on elements for automation of services.
