About The Position

We are seeking an organized, responsible maintenance supervisor to lead and develop our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and technical work with excellent leadership and communication skills. Tools and transportation required. You will direct and oversee all daily maintenance activities including delegation of tasks, manage overall maintenance programs of the property, and implement/supervise preventative maintenance. You will insure completion of work orders within 24 hours and make-ready turn arounds in a timely manner. You will work hands-on as required or directed by Property Manager.

Requirements

• HVAC trained and certified
• Skilled in all aspects of maintenance: plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, pool
• Tools and transportation required
• Authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage and direct all maintenance employees, procedures and operations
• Train new employees in maintenance work processes and safety procedures
• Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work
• Record and track daily progress of maintenance team
• Communicate daily with the Property Manager
• Help create and adhere to maintenance operation budget
• Maintain current records for unit/building maintenance
• Ensure maintenance shop is kept clean and organized
• Manage proactively a critical parts list in maintenance shop
• Maintain vendor relationships and order maintenance supplies as needed
• Implement/supervise preventative maintenance
• Ensure completion of work orders within 24 hours
• Ensure make-ready turn arounds in a timely manner
• Work hands-on as required or directed by Property Manager
