About The Position

Plan, organize, and lead daily mechanical maintenance activities for industrial equipment and facilities. <\/p><\/li> Coordinate and oversee equipment repairs and preventative maintenance programs, establishing priorities and directing work in both field and shop environments. <\/p><\/li> Assist with major repair projects, equipment overhauls, and technical improvement initiatives. <\/p><\/li> Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement to ensure necessary materials are available for maintenance activities. <\/p><\/li> Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with established safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. <\/p><\/li> Train and guide team members on maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and operational standards. <\/p><\/li> Conduct regular safety meetings and reinforce safe work practices among maintenance personnel. <\/p><\/li> Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization across work areas and maintenance facilities. <\/p><\/li> Coach, mentor, and support the development of mechanical maintenance team members. <\/p><\/li> Monitor employee performance and assist with performance management or corrective actions when necessary. <\/p><\/li> Support implementation and compliance with environmental, health, and safety programs and applicable industry regulations. <\/p><\/li> Promote clear communication and consistent application of company policies and procedures across the team. <\/p><\/li> Ensure adherence to all operational and facility -level procedures and standards. <\/p><\/li> Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required. <\/p><\/li> <\/div><\/span>

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining heavy industrial equipment such as conveyors, crushers, screening equipment, and bulk material handling systems.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment specifications.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
