The Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, assigning and reviewing maintenance work; perform a variety of responsible duties related to the supervision of maintenance activities; as well as train, supervise and evaluate the work of employees. This role involves implementing new equipment technologies for manufacturing and quality improvements, supervising the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and processes, and coordinating product and process design changes. The supervisor will analyze technology, resources, and market demands to plan project feasibility, perform administrative functions, and participate in purchasing maintenance materials and outside technical services. They will also assist in establishing and implementing a preventative maintenance program, investigate equipment failures, provide corrective actions, and supervise PM and PD plans using automated software. Monitoring parts requests to ensure adequate inventory and cost efficiencies, leading continuous improvement tasks, and ensuring equipment and processes run optimally are key responsibilities. The role also includes providing technical support to the production team, facilitating the selection of appropriate resources, and ensuring adherence to all legislative requirements and safety standards.
