About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for performing general and higher-level maintenance services, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, and HVAC. This role requires timely response to resident service requests and availability for on-call duties, including weekends and nights, with an on-call bonus. The position also involves participating in preventative maintenance tasks such as pool care, exterior lighting, filter changes, and apartment inspections. Additionally, the supervisor must maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment, and properly care for, maintain, and inventory all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or management company. The role emphasizes taking ownership, providing excellent customer service to residents, and maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years maintenance experience in the multifamily industry
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience
  • Refrigeration certification (type 2 or universal)
  • Valid driver’s license (free from major moving violations) and dependable transportation
  • CPO certification (if required in the state and location applied)
  • Experience with skills such as: HVAC, painting, plumbing, Pool maintenance, grounds, appliances, Drywall, minor carpentry, heat pumps, etc.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude and demeanor
  • Use various hand tools and test equipment
  • Bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time
  • Push and pull up to 300 pounds on wheels
  • Lift up to 100 pounds
  • Climb ladders of up to 40 feet in height
  • Use a hand-truck

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with or desire to be in a supervisory role
  • EPA or CPO certification a plus!
  • Knowledge of OneSite preferred

Responsibilities
