About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for performing general and higher-level maintenance services including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, and HVAC. This role requires responding promptly to resident service requests, being available on-call, and participating in preventative maintenance tasks such as pool care, exterior lighting, filter changes, and apartment inspections. The supervisor is also responsible for maintaining a clean work area and managing supplies and equipment.

Requirements

Minimum three years maintenance experience in the multifamily industry
1-2 years supervisory experience
Refrigeration certification (type 2 or universal)
Valid driver’s license (free from major moving violations) and dependable transportation
CPO certification (if required in the state and location applied)
Experience with skills such as: HVAC, painting, plumbing, Pool maintenance, grounds, appliances, Drywall, minor carpentry, heat pumps, etc.
Must have valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

Experience with or desire to be in a supervisory role
EPA or CPO certification a plus!
Knowledge of OneSite preferred

Responsibilities

Perform general and higher level maintenance services such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, and HVAC.
Respond on a timely basis to resident service requests.
Be available to work on an on-call basis, including weekends and nights.
Participate in preventative maintenance to include pool, exterior lighting, filter changes and apartment inspections.
Clean work area, tools and equipment.
Care for, maintain, and inventory all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
Serve residents with great customer service.
Complete resident and property service requests.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude and demeanor.
Use various hand tools and test equipment.
Make ordinary apartment homes spectacular.
