About The Position

CLK Multi Family Management is a well-established property management company seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Cypress Pointe Apartments. If you are a hands-on leader with strong technical skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service, we'd love to hear from you. The Maintenance Supervisor works closely with the Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance staff, coordinating make-ready units, completing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the property remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained for our residents.

Requirements

  • EPA HVAC Certification required (Universal Certification preferred)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of apartment maintenance experience
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
  • Working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, appliances, and building systems
  • General knowledge of building codes and maintenance regulations
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position
  • Ability to complete daily work orders and maintenance documentation accurately
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check is required for all conditional offers of employment

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team.
  • Oversee apartment make-readies to ensure units are completed on schedule.
  • Perform and oversee repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and other building systems.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
  • Inspect the property regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
  • Ensure the safety of residents, visitors, employees, and the overall property.
  • Coordinate maintenance projects while prioritizing work orders and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation for all work performed.
  • Assist in maintaining the appearance and functionality of buildings, grounds, and community amenities.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls and participate in the on-call rotation.
