About The Position

Provides leadership and oversees day-to-day maintenance performed on facilities and equipment to minimize disruption to plant operations. The role supervises building and equipment services, establishes preventive maintenance practices, monitors equipment performance and building energy efficiency, and promotes safe working conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• English and Spanish speaking ability.
• Strong technical knowledge of building and support equipment.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Ability to multitask and handle or lead multiple tasks at once.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, OSHA, and environmental regulations and compliance.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintenance technical bulletins.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Prior leadership experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day building and equipment services operations, including maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Inform management of problems with building equipment.
• Partner with local utility representatives to monitor building system energy efficiency.
• Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Analyze equipment and component failure trends to develop a cost-effective maintenance schedule.
• Administer training programs to ensure proper operations, preventative maintenance, and repair procedures are followed.
• Promote safe working conditions through housekeeping and ensure proper safety practices are followed.
• Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
